i love all the elements on this LO.. especially the gorgeous shades of blue!! i LOVE blues..and about 70 percent of my cardstock is blues or blue pp...anyways..love the journaling ..and gorgeous details..:o)
How funny I was just in your gallery and then was looking for signo pens and ran across one of your other lo's. This is just gorgeous. Love the layering the flourishes with the dots, the mesh, all of it.
Another one right into my faves. I love all the blue and the pink in her swim suit and the flowers just pop off the page. I love the torn edges and the little shells by the flowers. The mesh is cool too. I like mesh but can't figure out what to use it on. This is awesome. It gives me some ideas for some of our vacation pictures!
Wow.. 100 comments.. That is so great.. This really is a wonderful layout. Really like the polka dots with the stitching combination.. GREAT JOB!.. 100 comments..
100th comment lol cool. Blue is my fav color so this lo is stunning just for that!!! The touch of flowers for color, which match her swimsuit are beautiful!! The mesh, chipboard, everything is just great!!! Amazing job!
Susan this is spectacular!! Sorry I missed it when you posted it, but I've got that fixed now, you're in my fav artists where I thought you already were!!
Pensacola Beach is my favoritist place on earth. We used to go every summer until all the hurricanes!!! I miss it so!! BTW...I love your lo, great pic!!!
Wow!! This just pops---all the blues and then all of a sudden the pink from her bathing suit and the flowers! Love this!!! The mesh and hemp look awesome on here--adds lots of interest! =)
This is absolutely gorgeous and going into my faves right now! Those flowers matching her little suit are just lovely and the tiny shells too! Love it ALL!!
Have I said lately how much I enjoy viewing your gallery? ...this page is just so lovely!! This is gorgeous from the awesome photo to the beautifully co-ordinated paper!!
Wow-- this is sooo pretty! Lovelovelove that polka dot paper and the little cluster of flowers and seashells--the flowers really pop on this page! The string and mesh are perfect for this layout! Fabulous job! Straight to my faves!
Love the splash of pink with all the blues. I'm getting ready to start a beach album, so I just might have to lift that quote. This whole LO is fantastic!
This is WONDERFUL!!! Love the beach picture and also how you did your journaling and the quote! And the swirly is awesome!!! Yes, looks like the perfect day to me!!
this is a nice design.....love all the elements you pulled together. The quote is so applicable to the pic and the layout...perfect. And the mesh obviously had been standing by waiting to become a part of this wonderful piece of work. great job!!
what a great job on the challenge - the hemp cord works perfect with the beach theme, as does the mesh - looks like a fish net!! so beautiful and love the picture.
Just love this! Love the splash of pink and the shells! Now I have to go see if I still have any little shells to scrap my beach pictures! lol So pretty!
OK...this is another perfect page for my favs! Your grandchildren are certainly inspiring you to beautiful LO results! Love the swirl, the blues, mesh, shells, hemp, Primas, but I especially LOVE how you took the picture from the back as she is facing out to the ocean - and most of all that quote is PERFECT! TFS
My DGD Katie at Pensacola Beach in the summer of 2006. This is for the June Let's Play Challenge... Something old..and the mesh I've had for years and didn't know what to do with it!!! Something new...the prima flowers Something borrowed...the hemp cord from a ball of string that my DH had in HIS stash of "stuff" and I borrowed the quote from Isaac Newton! Something Blue...The layout is done in all blues!
Quote above the picture reads: "...I am a child playing on the beach while vast oceans of truth lie undiscovered before me." ~Isaac Newton
Journaling reads: warm sunshine waves breaking on the shore the scent of saltwater in the air the distant call of a seagull watching you gently sift sand through your fingers
