I've always wanted to roll down a hill, too. Your waves do a good job of tying the spread together, but I also like to see titles as connectors in 2-pagers. I can see "rolling" hugging the curve in that upper right hand green corner. Although, I like the colors in the tie-dye mat, it does draw attention to the photo and the page could probably do without it. On the right page, you slipped the pp circle between the two overlapping photos. I think it would look good if you did the same with that large green circle for the two photos that are overlapping on this page. I'd push it up first, so it's not too close to the circle photo beneath it, and then slip it between the photos above to suggest more of a break, rather than have it on top of both.
As usual I love your creative use of PP and you are really a great multi photo scrapper! I'm loving your use of different shaped photos. I also like the circles, however the green ones don't quite pop as well as the white ones.
I absolutely love how you did the different shapes of the photos. At first, it looked very chaotic.. but it really does fit the way it is. great title and little wave you got going on. love the colors. Awesome LO though.. you did a great job on this one.
Great. I definitely love the wavy coloured paper product that makes it really look like a rolling hill. Totally digging the whole thing! I *really* like that you make my eye "spill" down the hill from photo to photo...almost cosmic & that's how rolling down a hill *should* be!
I really like this. The different shapes do a great job of conveying that feeling of rolling down a hill. I would probably ink around the edge of the whole page to frame it, but otherwise I think this is excellent.
This LO definatly shows the fun you had. I love the circles and the wavy background. I agree with Tiff that the photos at first looked funny but actually really suit this page. Great Job!
OMG, I love this. It looks like so much fun! The LO absolutely conveys the fun that you guys had. Not even going to mention, how impressed, once again, I am with your multi-photos, but I am so thinking it. The slope of paper at the top right corner: genius. Also, at first blush (no pun intended, well maybe a little), I thought the photos are kinda chaotic, but once I looked at the photos themselves. I love how they tumble on the page. It creates the feeling of gravity in action, Sir Newton. I love your journaling and the whole thamn ding! You rock!
This is the left side of my 2pg response to both SHCG Multiple Photo Challenge as well as the Lucky 7 Contest (and whatever other category this may fulfill, LOL!). Journaling: “After a hearty family brunch at IHOP, we headed for the beach, passing the San Luis Hotel. The kids couldn't resist rolling down its grassy hill. After a while I realized this was probably my best chance of fulfilling my dream to roll over a golf course one day, so I joined them! It was so fun that Greg & Jon started rolling too. Lots of laughs as we tumbled down, some of us repeatedly, while Dad, Mom, Shirley & Sally enjoyed the sight without joining in on the dizzying activity themselves!” I hand-cut the background waves. Used my Quickutz Squeeze Tool (bought 2nd hand at a great price) for the first time ever on the title. The chipboard piece on the right says “Galveston 11/2004.” (Note the stitching makes a few circles on the rt page appear irregular & the scan cuts off the right sides of each page a little). TFL :)
