Wow! I had almost the identical experience! ....and I feel your PAIN!! I've given birth 3 times, but never had I felt pain like that! I was begging them to make me unconcious!!! :-) Love that you journaled all of this....and love that your LO so expresses how supportive your family was of you.

OMG, my mum suffered from the same thing and she nearly died too, she said there is no pain on earth like it, I am so sorry you went through this ordeal and to be away from your baby must have been excruciating, I loved your heartfelt journalling and the attached photo, perfect page for Taras challenge, my hats off to you :)

This is awesome of you to scrap-you poor girl. I have not even left Aislynn, who is almost 2, overnight anywhere, so I would be so terrified!! Glad the story had a happy ending, and I love that you kept the focus on the journaling.

Wow!! I am nosy, so I had to read it. :) I can't even imagine how hard that must have been!!! I am so glad that everything turned out ok! That picture would have put me over the edge too!!!! He is ADORABLE!!!
