My layout for Designing with 4”x 6” Photos. TFL!

Techniques: Faux Snakeskin Title: First I covered raw chipboard letters with removable dots adhesive. Next I covered the letters (& adhesive) with acrylic paint. After the paint dried I rubbed the dot adhesive off to reveal the dots of raw chipboard. Snake Trail: I covered a golf ball with acrylic paint and rolled it across my paper to create a fun textured “snake trail.”

Journaling: You have such a love/hate relationship with family walks. They sound fun to you at first, but halfway through you protest and beg to be carried the rest of the way. You continue to whine, making the walk unbearable for the rest of us until Daddy gives in and carries you. This walk was intended to be a fall color tour of sorts, boring, to a 4 year old boy, who cares nothing about what color the leaves are. But, you were saved from this boredom by a few small snakes. Apparently this trail is a hot spot for them this time of year. We spotted 6 or 7 of the tiny creatures during our walk and ended up looking down at the pavement rather than up at the trees. You enjoyed getting right down on their level, examining them closely and even touching them. You were delighted when they would slither quickly from your fingers. Yes, what would have been a miserable outing for you was saved by the snakes! I think we will try to take another fall snake tour next year.
