This is a wonderful tribute to your beautiful Mother. Doing some training for CVS, I recently learned more about this horrible disease. Bless you in your loss and your bravery to do this page. xox Laura
It is beautiful and expresses so much love, loss and memories. You've done a wonderful job making the memory a treasure. (That is such a beautiful quote you've used!)
This is wonderful. I can't even imagine how difficult this was for you to accompolish. You did an incredible job in capturing her memory here. I know that she must be looking down from heaven and feel extreemly proud of you. Bless you!
What a beautiful, heartfelt LO!! We had a good friend taken by ALS. He was a wonderful man, and an inspiration through the whole ordeal. He is sorely missed too!
This page is a tribute to my mother who died of ALS 15 years ago. If you look closely, you can see the "double use" of the letters ALS. Journaling reads: " If you don’t know what ALS is, offer a prayer of thanksgiving. ALS is a death sentence – no known cause, no treatment, no cure – just a gradual loss of all independence, all control, all voluntary movement. Watching my proud, independent mother gradually lose that independence and have to rely on others for even the simplest of tasks was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. Her life was difficult in many ways, but this was a terrible ordeal by any standard. My mother was only fifty-five years old when she died, much too young. I still miss her, and I will always be grateful to her for helping me become the woman I am today."
