When I think back to my trip to Unalaska in 1995, one of the main things I think of is the eagles. Of course my pictures of them didn't come out, so I "right-clicked" these off of the internet! I wish I could find the site so I could give the photographer credit!

The journaling reads:
It looks like this! I was so amazed at the sheer size and amount of bald eagles that there were in Unalaska.. They were so beautiful! At least I thought that until I heard that they ate people’s cats. Or when I saw hundreds of them hanging out on the local landfill, or “Trash Mountain”. Perhaps the most sobering moment was when I nearly stepped in one of their huge piles that they dropped into the house that we were working on--It was nearly 3 feet wide! Bill, one of the members of the church there, was not kidding when he referred to them as “pigs with wings.” I will never look at our nation’s glorious symbol the same way again!
