What an incredible page!! Wait, this is digital? I just looked at the comments below! Fantastic! I'm adding it to my favourites immediately! Just incredible.
You would choose a Bruce Springsteen song. Now let me ask you - is this song one you heard at a middle school dance? Or maybe Dancing in the Dark? Your digi work looks so good - I am impressed. What a wonderful photo to scrap. Now come steal one of my new sketches and make it a digi masterpiece - I dare you!
You have truly blurred the boundaries between paper & digi. I know it's digi but I *still* can't tell. And from someone who has worked in digi in one form or another for 10+ yrs to someone who *says* she is new at this, ummm, you have me 100% fooled!
How in the world did I miss this wonderful LO?!!!???? I LOVE it, Karin!! What a terrific picture of the kids running away from you!! I love the colors you've chosen and all the stitching around the borders!! All this topped off with the perfect quote! An outstanding job!!
great great photo! It's like Den said the other day...take them to a grassy place and kids just run! Bizarre! Doing the names like that was a great idea! I love the stitching and the stamp work. And the pp behind the photo is a really great idea...I shall have to remember that!
What should I say?? this is awesome!!! I still can't believe you had learned so fast....that's not all.....you are showing your incredible creativity also in the "dark side"...you amaze me JR!!!!!!
This is so cute...you come up with some of the most original ideas. Thanks for getting us started, it's so much fun!! I won't be uploading much more until school is finished in the Fall...in the mean time I can enjoy everyone elses work.
Soooo...does this mean you're moving to the "dark side"??? You really seem to have mastered the whole "digi" thing!!! Beautiful job on this layout!!! Love all the little embellies you added.....are you using page "kits" or mixing and matching from different sets??? I must admit...I'm impressed!!
Digi? Ahem...this is AWESOME!!! Such a wonderful pic, and the title is just perfect! (ya know, he grew up about 20 miles from here - hehe). I really LOVE all the texture and elements you have so strategically placed throughout, and I LOVE the date stamp! This really ROCKS, Karin! WTG!!!
Those stitches look so real!!! and love the layout!! cute photo and love, love, love the song lyrics you chose for this page!! You rock at the digi....but please, please don't give up on your paper creations, they are always such an inspiration to me!!
awesome picture!! So, miss digi girl... I want first dibbs on all that scrap crap you won't be using anymore! LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm SO loving those stitches!
Alexia and Jessica running like mad with their friends. When I saw this picture, I automatically thought of "Born to Run" by the ONE and ONLY Boss. The lyrics on the picture read: "Together we could break this trap, we'll run till we drop, baby we'll never go back". Still playing with digi. Thanks for taking a peek!!!
