Washington, DC - Cherry Blossoms

Sunrise is my favorite time to photograph the cherry blossoms. The morning light reflecting in the water only multiplies the beauty.

I feel lucky to live and work here. There is so much good about this city, which is often overshadowed by the political environment.

Journaling:
Washington is a beautiful city, especially in the spring when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. The area around the Tidal Basin gradually becomes more pink, until the whole area explodes into gorgeous blooms.
