This is my first "real" scrapbook page. I've done others without photos or good papers, and without really trying to make them look good.
Since the page size is just 6 x 6, I bought wallet-size photos for this page and cut them down even smaller.
I printed out a map of NY, put the print-out on top of the star paper, and outlined the map with a pencil with hard strokes so that the outline showed up on the paper below. Then I lightly penciled the outline in and cut the paper around the line. I added white charcoal to the borders of the paper, the glued it over the two photos.
I used one of the stars as the place I visited (carefully positioned the paper so the star lined up with the place), then wrote the name in pen. (You can't see it because I erased it on the computer for privacy's sake.)
I also penciled the outline of the saying squares.
In case you're wondering, I'm not Jewish (not that I would mind being Jewish)--I just picked this paper without realizing the stars were Stars of David. :)
