I cut strips of 3/4" each and wove them onto a piece of cardstock to create the background to look like a basket. On the title I used the Basic Font to trace the letters, penciled in lines to look like basket weave, the cut out some of the sections so the mat I put the letters on would show through. Other techniques used: paper piecing (Bunny)and shaker box (basket). The "grass" in the shaker box was used in the actual Easter Basket - I just cut it up into little pieces.
