What a great song to choose for those photos and I really like the colors with the red gingham and red border. I like those flower eyelets too. Simple, but with some obvious craftmanship. Great work and glad you decided to post it.
I love that song...it reminds me of my nephew and brother-in-law...I need the perfect picture, such as these, to scrap!!! Love the design too!!! WTG, Susan!!!
I love that song!! I saw Rodney Atkins last year at our county fair!! And he sang that song there!! It was before he released it as a single!! I had to tear up at it!! I am an emotional fool ! LOL! this is a precious layout! Your grandson is a cutie!
Susan I think this is great! I HAVEN'T HEARD THAT SONG BUT IT IS TOUCHING TO READ THE WORDS SO I AM SURE IT IS EVEN MORE TOUCHING TO HEAR IT IN SONG. I LOVE HOW YOU HAVE MULTIPLE PICS ON HERE AND THE DISTRSSED LOOK OF THE TITLE GIVE IT A MORE RUGGED LOOK. I THINK THIS IS A GREAT LO!

This is terrific, Susan! I love the song.....it often sings to me with my 6 year old James! And you've done a wonderful job portraying it here.....great pictures of the two of them; clean, simple design!!
Susan... I can't believe that you aren't sure if you like this! It is one of the most precious LOs I have ever seen!!! Those words choked me up, because your DGS is so lucky to have a dad around to be able to watch... my DSs never had that...
Oh, so glad you did post this. The lyrics are just perfect for your subjects. Bet it means much to your son and grandsons. Love those RF flourish stamps, too.
Wow! This is just gorgeous!!! I love how you placed the multi-pics, and the scalloped circle is awesome! Love the color combo, too! LOVE this song...how true! Great job!!!

My SIL and my DGS (Jason & Jacob)- This is a layout I completed a few weeks ago, but then wasn't sure I really liked it...but I've decided to post it anyway! When I heard this song..it really "spoke" to me and made me really think about the fact that our children/grandchildren do indeed watch EVERYTHING we do!! the words to the song are:
Drivin’ through town just my boy and me With a “Happy Meal” in his booster seat Knowin’ that he couldn’t have the toy ‘til his nuggets were gone. A green traffic light turned straight to red I hit my brakes and mumbled under my breath. His fries went a flyin’, and his orange drink covered his lap Well, then my 4 year old said a 4 letter word It started with “S” and I was concerned So I said, “Son, now where’d you learn to talk like that?”
He said, I’ve been watching you, Dad ain’t that kool? I’m your buckaroo, I want to be like you. And eat all my food and grow as tall as you are. We got cowboy boots and camo pants Yeah, we’re just alike, hey, ain’t we Dad I want to do everything you do. So I’ve been watching you.
We got back home and I went to the barn I bowed my head and I prayed real hard Said, “Lord, please help me help my stupid self.” Just this side of bedtime later that night, Turnin’ on my son’s Scooby-doo nightlight. He crawled out of bed and he got down on his knees. He closed his little eyes, folded his little hands Spoke to God like he was talkin’ to a friend. And I said, “Son, now where’d you learn to pray like that?”
He said, I’ve been watching you, Dad ain’t that kool? I’m your buckaroo; I want to be like you. And eat all my food and grow as tall as you are. We like fixin’ things and holding Mama’s hand Yeah, we’re just alike, hey, ain’t we Dad. I want to do everything you do; so I’ve been watching you.
With tears in my eyes, I wrapped him in a hug. Said, “My little bear is growin’ up.” And he said, “But when I’m big I’ll still know what to do.” ‘cause I’ve been watching you, Dad ain’t that kool? I’m your buckaroo; I want to be like you. And eat all my food and grow as tall as you are. By then I’ll be strong as superman we’ll be just alike, hey, won’t we Dad When I can do everything you do. ‘cause I’ve been watchin’ you.
