This is such a wonderful layout. Love the picture with the little bit of drool. The journaling is perfect.. When he is all grown up, he will look at this layout and smile and feel all warm inside.. This layout shows so much love.. Love the embelishments and the colors.. Very nice..
Wow Krissy, this is fabulous!!! You can feel the love radiating from these endearing photos!!! and the poem...omg pass the tissue!!! This is wonderful, just wonderful!!!
Oh Krissy, this is absolutely gorgeous! This is more than an "awwwww" factor picture - it's like telling the future of how Daddy's powerful hands are holding Mason in his heart and preparing him for his whole life ahead. Your colors and embellies are the perfect "icing on the cake!"
Krissy, you totally "out-did" yourself on this one. When are these layouts going to show up in a scrapbooking magazine? I would love to see you featured!!!!
BEAUTIFUL!!!!! LOVE the pictures, and the poem is PERFECT!!! I also love the finishing touches to this with the beads, yarn, photo corners, and straight pin...which is gorgeous!!!! This is breathtaking!!!
OMG, Krissy this is sooo GORGEOUS!!! What an amazing picture of Mason on his Daddy's hand, love it so much and that poem is beautiful and perfect! Favs!!!!
This is just too darling to really articulate how amazing it is. What a wonderful photo and you did such a great job of keeping it the focus of the layout and then adding the other two pics to complete the moment. Very blanced and beautiful - love the "rope" around the cirlce mat. Great work Krissy.
ooohh---what a photo! I so wish i had something like that of my sammy. (I wasn't at all into photos when she was born.) LOVE this! Gorgeous, classic layout!
Lovin the little circles by the title, the little silver corners at the top and the bling! Fab LO and perfect for Father's Day! Congrats on freatured LO!!!!!
aww, he's so tiny! This pic is just gorgeous, and so is your layout!! I love how you arranged the title around the circle, and love those pretty swirls in the corners!
Gorgeous! I love the colors. Those photo's are beautiful! I also love the photo corners at the top of the layout, the rubons, and the title work. How is your Mom? Did you get her package I sent? Just curious!
Oh, I have to tell you... I am so STEALING the title and poem, lol!!! LOVE those little microbeads when I enlarged the lo!!! This is beautiful in the photo, Krissy, but I know what you mean about being able to do it justice, when it's enlarged it is just even MORE awesome!! Love all the little flourishes with the bling, too!!
This turned out just beautiful! I love the rope and the beaded flourishes! Fabulous symmetry! One of my fav pics, too! The colors are perfect! Love it!!!!
This is my absolute favorite pic of Mason. I took this when he was just a few days old lying in his daddy's hand. I was able to just capture the slightest hint of drool escaping those precious baby lips! The poem is so incredibly fitting. I wish I knew who the author was. ************************ The poem reads: I came into the world, and reached for your strong hands. My tiny fingers knew you, before I could understand. Your hands proudly held me, and smoothed my newborn hair. They'll grow to love to tickle, and toss me in the air. Your hands are the teachers, that will catch and throw a ball; that will steady my two-wheeler, and soften each new fall. Your hands are the guideposts, that'll set and keep the rules; offer good advice and wisdom, and cheer hard work in school. Your hands will be my anchor, as I leave my childhood home. You'll shake my hand and pat my back, as I live life on my own. One day I'll have a child, and come to understand, the power of the love, held in my daddy's hands. Unknown The poem was printed onto transparency, I heat embossed all the stamping to make it stand out more. I made the matching buttons by cutting out PP and putting rub-ons on them, then gluing to the clear buttons. The matching 'circles' on the sides of the LO are chipboard circles with PP glued to them. I used teeensy tiny beads from Michael's and attached them to the chipboard flourishes using Diamond glaze. I also attached the rope (JoAnn's) using Diamond glaze as well. BTW, I did re-attach my apostrophe on the word 'Daddy's' It fell off during the painstaking, frustrating photography process! LOL! Thank you so much for popping by gallery and looking!
