oh dear, where do i begin?! I created this layout for the June challenge "Against All Odds" Twists; -19 strips of journaling, 1 photo, 5 (intentional) hidden hearts.

I spent over 4hrs on this page in doodling alone, i use 3 stamps in the bottom left corner, but i added a lot to them - the rest of the doodles on the page are purely mine. i printed the journaling, cut into strips matted with paper i bought at the dollar store, &i inked the edges of the matt to make it stand out more. Chipboard letters stand for Kristina &Jason (it was JK, but my wonderful brother in law pointed out the "jk = just kidding" factor, so of course i had to change it = rawr. This is probably the longest its taken me to make a layout, plys the busiest one i`ve ever made.

Writing around the picture says "This phot was taken the day before we got married"

Journaling reads;
"Sometimes we fight, laugh &cry.
At times we`re happy, content, or angry.

Sometimes we feel too far apart when we`re not.
At times we are closer than we ever thought.

Sometimes it feels too hard to bare.
At times we take the little moments for granted.

Sometimes we talk less than expected.
At times we hold each other as time stands still for us.

Sometimes being married is no cake walk.
At times we even wish we weren`t married!

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like without you
&at that moment in time is when I realize --
That any hopes or dreams I had, changed because of you.
Any fight - big or small - doesn’`t matter --
Because I love you &you love me.
Any ounce of doubt that passes through my mind,
Is washed away by your eyes that let me see your wonderful soul,
Your perfect smile &your amazing touch.

Sometimes all I need is this reminder."

Its basically about how hard our relationship can be sometimes,
but no matter what our love prevails.
on June 6, '07 we beat the statistics in young marriages &hit our 1yr anni!
which is another over-coming something, IMO =P
i love this layout, tehee.
