OMG I can totally relate to what you have written. I foster and at the present we have a little one that reminds me of your Sam. He is just learning to speak (20 months old) and he randomly kisses and hold me hand during some meals. Warms my heart
thanks so much for sharing .....beautiful

BEAUTIFUL journaling, and that is such a cute pic! I love how you did the title for this one, and the colors are so bright! Really a great page!!! I agree with B, a sure winner to me!!!
Beautiful journaling...sniff. I completely understand. Just when you want to string them up by their toenails, kids will say the sweetest things. Love the way you did the title and the pp combo!!
Emily!! You made me tear up--- I loved the part about him wanting to hold your hand at the table. Awwwwwww!!!!
I like the bright colors and the large monogram--- wonderful photo, too!
Journaling: Sam, I absolutely mean it when I say that you melt me. This last week was a really rough one for two of us. You were into absolutely everything this week. You dumped your humidifier out on your bedroom carpet, and then came to me with “I spilled something, Mommy”, as if it was an accident! While I was sucking up the flood with the steam cleaner, you were helping yourself to a pair of scissors to cut your shirt tag out. And it was not even 6:30 a.m.! You literally dumped out everything you touched on the floor this week and then would look up at me for a reaction. It was a maddening week and your behavior almost had me in tears more than once. However, as you always do, you would walk over to me and say something absolutely adorable and my anger would subside. One of the sweetest things you do is to tell me twenty times a day, “Mommy, I wiiiiiike you”. You also like to follow me around and say, “Mommy, I kiss you?” and then kiss my hand, my elbow, my knee, or whatever body part you can reach. As awkward as it is for you, you will eat with your left hand just so you can hold my hand with your right during dinner. You know exactly how to make me forget all of the terrible things you do, my sweet, sweet Sammy.
