This page was made to highlight and share some of the funny things Jason has said at 2 1/2 yrs old ("out of the mouth of babes").
Journaling states: Uncle Grant and aunt Susie e-mailed a picture of Grant making a funny face to Jason, so we took this picture of Jason imitating Grant and e-mailed it back. He even requested gel in his hair to spike the front of his hair to get "hair like Gant".
Jason likes to get up early, so we told him to stay in his room at least until the clock shows 6:00. At 5:06 and 5:09 he states "time to wake up" because he thought the 6 or the upside down 6 meant 6:00.
This month we also battled with bedtime. Jason kept coming out of his room, so we put a baby gate up in the doorway. One night, during a fit, he knocked it over, which surprised him. He said, "oh no, I pushed it over. . .(he paused and then said) I got through, I so big!"
Jason asks to "pet Dustin" and pats mom's pregnant tummy. One day he patted aunt Susie's non-pregnant tummy and stated "not my mommy."
Excited to meet Dustin in less than a month, Jason put his ear to mom's tummy and said "Hello baby Dustin, ready to come out, baby Dustin?"
Jason likes to play hide and seek, but he hides in the same spot and yells "come find me mama!"
This month, Jason is doing a lot of imitation. For example, to turn a page in his books, he licks his index finger, but then he uses his index finger on the other hand to turn the page. Another time, he pointed his toy flashlight into my mouth and said "Jason Dr. Coats" (to check my throat like our doctor did at her office)
