This LO is for our Eiffel Tower Gallery / Support Group challenge - to make a LO about where you live and for Estee's June Multiple Pic challenge (14 photos!). This is about Kiruna, Sweden where I have lived for 8 years. I kept these pages simple because of the amount of photos used. (Maybe you noticed my very-much-missed doggie Bandit has found his way onto this LO as well. I'm getting there!) -------Journaling (on the back) reads: This TN girl is far from home!! These summer photos were taken in and around Kiruna during our hiking/camping trips. Kiruna is a place of contrasts; where the summer sun shines round the clock for almost two full months, while the polar night lowers its dark blue blanket over the area for the last three weeks of December and the sun never rises above the horizon. In winter, the Northern Lights are breathtakingly magical and the amount of snowfall astounding. We have the world famous Ice Hotel and a yearly snow festival where teams from around the globe compete in sculpting huge snow sculptures!---------Thanks for looking!!!!
