this is very cute. love the idea of using real sand and the popsicle stick for that pier look. don't be so hard on yourself, you did a great job. if you are still not happy with it maybe instead of the seahorse, how about a beach umbrella.

Summer Band-Aid tin

This is for the Band-Aid Tin swap. This is my second Band-Aid tin to create. Not so sure about this one as it (to me) doesn't have that "WOW" feel! But it's the best I could do. I used a popsicle stick and broke it in half and wrapped tan cording around it to give it the pier look. I used real sand on the sand colored paper. I placed a brass seahorse on the front and placed a metal sign that says "summer" also on the front. This tin didn't come with a handle so I used a stiff wire and beaded it with blue glass beads and seashells and tied blue ribbons on it. TFL
