This is the first page I have completed in a long time. I was inspired by the big photo of my ds and dh.
Journaling: For Father’s Day this year all Daddy wanted was to have a “Boys Only” campout in the back yard. So he erected the big tent, cleaned out the swimming pool, and found some wood for the fire pit.
It was all set for a great weekend in the great outdoors. However, the weather was not on your side. It began to rain while you were cooking the hotdogs – so dinner was held in the tent and swimming was out.
When bedtime came Daddy was already to read you some of the books you brought along. But, you decided you would rather play lightning with the flashlight than sit still and listen.
Finally, you settled down and were lulled to sleep by the sound of the rain. But a noisy bird put a stop to that around 5:30 am.
“Camping’s over! Time to go in the house.”
