Journaling~ Jade, when you were 4 we moved to the country. We got chickens, goats, sheep and cows. You loved them all! You named each and every one. If they were small enough, you always had to hold them. We took many a baby goat to school for show and tell! I'll never forget when we got our first cattle. I told you and Alex, "Do not name them. They are not pets. We ARE going to eat them." Needless to say, after they were unloaded in the pasture, you and Alex promptly named them all! Since I said we were going to eat them, ya'll named them food names! Ice Cream, Fudge, Cake... We never did eat them! When it was time, we sold them and bought beef from someone else. Even I couldn't eat them after watching them follow your dad around like dogs! I love this picture of you, with the sun shining on you and a baby chick in your hands! It is such a reminder of the delight you had for each new baby!~~~I got way to wordy on the journaling for this one, so it doesn't fit on the hidden card, therefore, I am putting it in a pocket on the back! The card hold little details about her age etc.~~I don't know why the picture looks so bad on here! It is realy a cute, clear picture!
