*sorry about the pic. Hard to avoid glare on the letters* I did this layout based on a sketch I found in the gallery here on SB.com. I didn't have a Prima flower to put in the corner, so I wanted to make something similar. I traced a Circle template onto the wrong side of some cardstock and then followed the line, cutting with my scalloped scissors. Once the outer shape was cut out, I switched to straight scissors. I cut toward the center of the shape, counted over two scallops and Cut again, moving around the shape. I just kept going around the shape making it look more like it had petals. I repeated the steps in a smaller size, with a different color of cardstock. I layered the two flowers and sewed down a button for the center of the flower. The other thing I am proud about on this LO are the holes punched in the background cardstock. I used my Fiskars Eyelet setters (3 sizes) to punch holes in the cardstock in the shape of a flourish. Once all the holes were punched, I glued a scrap of pink cardstock the the back of the main cardstock. The pink shows through on the front through the holes. :) I used pink fiber for photo corners to bring the attention to the little girl wearing pink in the photo.
