So funny... gage had been playing in a huge pile of dirt and it was 100 degrees outside... he was filthy! and i'm such a perfectionist... under any normal circumstances, I would have worn that clone and blemish stamp OUT on a picture like this... hmmmm... make sense now where my journaling came from? lol! anyway... used the striped paper from the Funky Florals kit as a brush and lowered the opacity way down to give the blue paper a little bit of movement. also burned around the corners just a tad to give it sort of a "blemished" look.

JOURNALING: We really have no concept of this thought process. We couldn't possibly. But this is exactly how He sees us... unblemished. How does He do that? *Why* does He do that? It is just the past couple of years that I've really started trying to wrap my mind around this mystery. How does He love like that? Even with the enormous amount of love and compassion I feel as your mom, even with that, I struggle. I still have that silly preference for a clean face... that silly preference for perfection. This just really shows that even with one of the strongest loves in the world, it does not compare to His love for us... for you. This world will desperately try to leave its mark on us, whether its good or bad. But in its end it will hold no comparison to what will be our new beginning. We can come to Him as dirty as this world can make us, but He will still see us as totally unblemished... as only He can.
