AT LAST! Here is the LO I was waiting on paper for forever. The paper never did come in, so I went with this design instead - and I am VERY pleased with how it worked out. Do you like the Palm Trees? I put them together myself. It was EASY! I tell you how in the description for p2. Because The name of the Hotel [and the LO] is the Blue Horizon, I wanted the PP to carry out the theme of the horizon with the stripes. Then to add a bit of flair, I used a stripe of ribbon on the page's horizon line. I also Love the sand PP. To make it a little more like a Bajun beach, I went over it very lightly with a light pink pencil crayon. The only thing that didn't work is the dark blue circle. It says Paradise Found in light blue glittery ink. Might have to go over it in gold ink. Journal #1 [Top]: The Blue Horizon was the name of our hotel. We'd booked a suite with a/c - a necessity for the +32 C weather. There was a terrific little market just down the street, so it was easy to make meals! Thanks also to Clark's parents for sending along a "Variety Pack" of cereal to make breakfast less expensive. Journal #2: We usually ate our meals on our little balcony. The view might not have been the greatest on the island, but it was lush & green, with at least 1 palm tree. That's all we needed.
