my friend margie, bought these boy-t-shirts from walmart. what started out as a "Oh, Yeah! I can do that easily!-project...turned into a three overnight mission impossible! I had to do quite a bit of altering to get that square boy cut out! I softened up the sleeves and tapered the waist. We used remant fabric from the sleeves to make tiny fabric flowers to top the ribbons on the shoulders. I used the cbx-armymen font for the logo design & the Spirit swirl on t-shirt iron-on paper for dark fabrics. It was tedious to trim neatly around the letters & swirl, but well worth it. If you don't, it ends up looking messy with uneven borders. And margie's coordinating"luvabows" for these shirts were the cherry with chocolate fudge syrup on top! these turned out so cute, if I do say so myself!
