There's nothing else to say that everyone hasn't said already! So very clever my friend, so glad it worked out so we can all admire (copy). I can so see this trend you started featured on many people's layouts in the future! So in my FAVS!!!!
Cool idea Krissy with cutting out the paper to see through the chipboard. Great picture of Ashli too. The raised dots really help with making it pop and the colors you chose for the layout really are a wonderful contrast to the black chipboard. The whole LO is wonderfully balanced. Great work!
Well aren't you just a little "Genius"!!!!! LOL!!!! This truly is extraordinary Krissy!!!! You keep raising the bar for all of us with inspiring layouts such as this! TFS!
AWESEOME JOB WITH THIS!!! You are the best at coming up with new and interesting ideas!!! (Gives all of us something to think about doing so we can get out of our little ruts!!!) This is so creative and innovative! Love the colors and the concrete backdrop!!! (They are right, it does look llike granite!!!) Just georgeous!!!
Krissy this is AMAZING! I just love your style.. you always find a way to make things exciting. OK we sooo need to scrap together..I am so there!! Your work is STUNNING, thank you for sharing it with us!
Holy Smokes!! You've submitted this, right? RIGHT? If not, I'm on the next plane to your place to submit it for you! What an awesome idea, and one that only a few people could pull off... including you! I love how you never really "finished" the title, too... just gorgeous!
OH MY GOSH!!!! Krissy!!! this is gorgeous!!!.....talk about trendsetting!! I love the idea of the cut out lines in this page!! I've never seen anything like it.....let's just wrap a bow around this one and call it the top prize!!! .....so adding this to my favs, thanks for sharing your inspiring pages!!
Just fabulous, Krissy!! Love those 'cut-outs'....what a great idea! Creativity at it's best!! The beautiful picture of Ashli is the main focus, but the black chipboard against the burgandy and blue cardstock is stunning! You've done a wonderful job with this one!!!
Wow Krissy this is a real work of art, love love love the cut out paper behind the swirls, fantastic idea, the deep colours and pretty accents and of course that photo is gorgeous, her eyes really are mesmerising TFS :)
VERY COOL!!!!!!! As you know, I love this picture and the journaling is so sweet!!!! Beautiful color combo, and the black painted chipboard is so elegant!!! I'd say you have a foot in the door with this one!!!
Magnificent!! You certainly added character to the layout with the cutouts. It reminds me of a garden gate. Beautiful photo of your DD. Those rubons are very special and add nicely to a beautiful layout!!!
OMG, I just can't stop going back up and looking at this!! This could very well be my all-time fav of yours!! Brilliant idea cutting away the pp from the flourish!!
A funky kind of LO I wanted to try. I painted chipboard flourishes, laid them down and then CUT OUT the PP behind it, leaving it "open" In this pic, You can 'see through' the layout to the concrete sidewalk the LO was laying on. (I know, high tech huh?) It really gave this LO an AMAZING framed look, and enabled me to not only put it into an album, but to hang 'as-is' on my wall. I'm REALLY happy with this one, though I must admit I had some 'divine' intervention here. The WHOLE time I was praying that it would come out right! I chose the title because of Ashli's eyes. Since day one, I've always found myself getting lost in her... *sigh*. I also used pop dots to raise the circle in the center, making the focal pic even more 'pronounced'. Thanks so much for stopping in and taking a peek!
