The whitish spots on some of the pics are because it was actually raining in the rain forest! Journaling reads: "As soon as we got to our hotel in Cape Tribulation and I saw the brochure on “Jungle Surfing,” I knew I had to do it – despite the fact that it was indeed raining in the rain forest. Luckily, Liz was up for it, too, as were four of our other traveling companions – all women. Although I think we were all a bit nervous at first (I know I was), we all said the same thing with the same note of disappointment in our voices when we learned we had reached the final platform: “You mean that’s it? It’s over?”
Despite the soaked jeans (and one pair of ripped pants in our group), we had a blast. Jungle Surfing has to be the most fun you can legally have in a rain forest."
