I'm so excited!! I printed this ribbon myself!! The printing is much crisper in real life.
**********
First I ironed it so it would be super flat. I didn't want to take the chance of it getting caught up in my printer.
I used my Xyron 250 with the repositionable cartridge and ran the ric rac through. I used a stiff eyebrow brush to brush baby powder across the entire length of the ric rac, making sure to brush it into the fibers.
Using Word, I printed out the text I wanted onto plain paper. I chose landscape to give me more length.
Then I cut the ric rac to the length of the text and peeled it from the Xyron tape. I placed it directly over the printed words on the paper and pressed it firmly.
I put the paper back in the printer and printed the same thing again!!
When I peeled it off the printer paper, I added regular adhesive to the back before placing it on my layout, just for added insurance ;)
Mine doesn't, but if your printer has a back that opens, I would do that. This way the ribbon would print, then come out the back.
Also-I have an inkjet and used cotton twill which wouldn't melt. A laser has higher heat, so I don't know how well that would work.

The possibilities are truly endless now!!! Thanks for looking!!
