My most favorite pics in the whole world! So soft and pretty, I was so glad I captured my daughter's beautiful face like this. It's timeless! Love the hat! Lots of layers and embellishments make this page look rich and complicated, but it wasn't too hard to do. Used my edging scissors and brown ink around all edges to keep it warm and homey. Also used my sewing machine on one strip of the patterned paper to add interst. Only four different patterned papers, but I layered on two different ribbons and a strip of the base paper to add more depth. I stapled the ribbons together after wrapping them around the page, then covered the staples with buttons. I used scraps of the patterned paper to cover the center of the buttons, then rubbed on her initials and covered them with page pebbles. I did a quick once over with the brown ink on the pink ribbon to age it a little bit. The last step was to place all the words I felt applied to her mood that day. I put photo corners on all the pictures because I think it helps create more definition around them.
