Many people know my son Kevin to be diagnosed with autism. Because of the autism, they don't know much more about him. But there is more to Kevin than you can see. This page shows some of the many facets that make up the wonderful person.. Kevin! BTW - green is his favorite color - so naturally that had to be the main background color. Oh and I wrote the poem about Kevin many years ago. Thanks for viewing!

Decided to add the wording of the poem here for you:

My golden haired boy with eyes of blue
Some say they reflect emptiness
I see a world simple and true

One of discovery, routine so plain
Comfort found in a world unchanged
You live in a hue of autism, a mystery to me
I learn and study to help break you free

Together we work to bridge your world and mine
Thru this you touch me with your innocence
If we do all we can, I know you'll be fine

A challenge, frustrating, I reach deep inside
Keep searching and growing to find a connection
And there it is and always will be

The love that we share
Between you and me

Deep inside those eyes so blue
Is my golden haired boy, simple and true
