I did this LO for jillilands song challenge. I found this picture in the basement of a camp that I used to work at. My journaling talks about when I was a child and at camp I felt so free and so happy even though at home there were times that I felt very fragile growing up in a home with an alcoholic parent.
I choose the song 7 years from Norah Jones. From the first time that I heard this song it has always reminded me of my childhood. The words to the song are:
Spinning, Laughing, dancing to her favorite song. A little girl with nothing wrong is all alone. Eyes wide open Always hoping for the sun. And she'll sing her song to anyone that comes along. Fragile as a leaf in autumn Just falling to the ground Without a sound.
Crooked little smile on her frace. Tells a tale of grace that's all her own.
Spinning, laughing, dancing to her favorite song. A little girls with nothing wrong and she's all along.
