Very pretty! I can relate, too, because my mom just got remarried in December and I was unable to go to the wedding because it was less than a week before I had Brailee. My mom didn't move to Sweden, but to Utah, and I only see her every 3 or 4 months, where we used to see her at least once a month. Anyway, thanks for sharing this - it really touched me!
How sweet a picture! I can't imagine what I would do if my mother moved that far away!! I am sure that you know that you are in her thoughts and prayers every day and night!
Can I say how much I LOVE these Fancy Pants chipboard scrolls? After using all of the chipboard pieces I used the negetive piece to trace the scrolls and cut them from different papers as I did here. I think the journaling explains this layout well enough...
Journaling Reads: This past Christmas, after 25 years of being single, my Mother got married. I was so happy for her. After years of sacrificing for her children it was her turn to go after her happiness. And her happiness was in Sweden with her new husband and children. It has been difficult saying goodbye to the Mother who was always near. She could not come when I gave birth to Evangeline, but she came for the blessing. As she held my new baby in her arms I realized that we must hold onto family when we can, because life has a way of directing our paths every which way. And when it does we must let those we love go, but hold them in our hearts and minds … always.
