Journaling:
On Friday, April 20, 2007, my mom, Justin, and I decided to go to the Chicago Brauhaus,
in Lincoln Square, for lunch.. We were at the Planetarium so it was on our way home. We had been talking about going there for a while. We love German food. Not surprising since Hungarian and Austrian food are very similar and that’s what I grew up eating.

Everything was perfect, except the annoying lady sitting next to us. She was with an older woman who I’m guessing was hard of hearing by the way she was talking to her. She kept complaining about how her grandchild doesn’t eat well anymore since they moved away and she is no longer watching him. She kept repeating the same thing over and over again.

Meanwhile Justin was being a complete angel and devouring everything off his plate. I was wondering if he was just adding fuel to the lady’s fire. Anyway, the food was great. We split the most incredible coconut ice cream for desert.

After lunch we walked around the shops in the neighborhood. Justin kept ducking into the store fronts “to hide”. We spent a lot of time at a cute toy store. Justin didn’t want to leave the train set. We bought him a little taxi to add to his car collection – just what he needed. (That’s sarcasm for those who don’t know me.)
