These are my three favorite pics of Trent playing baseball. June 2007. Journaling is: Elk River Youth Baseball, Team #2, your first organized sport. You were the smallest player on the team, the uniform and equipment were both too big for you, your first sports injury occurred as a result of a baseball to the face (bloody nose) and you were often distracted by things other than the game in progress. Still, you played baseball. You hit the ball every time you were up to bat, you played every position, and you learned about the game of baseball. Quite the accomplishment for a five-year old in the span of eight weeks; I think you’ve earned the right to call yourself a ball player.
