It was a sunny September day in 1995… Annika and I were hanging around at my house when her dad asked if we wanted to go with him on a job assignment. We immediately hopped in his Chevy station wagon and went on a little road trip to a small Québec town called Nicolet. This is where I saw the cutest little dog… with her long blonde eyelashes and her little pink nose, how could I resist? And so began the love story between a girl and her darling little Shadow…
