June 12, 2005: I came home from a weekend in Montreal and when Shadow greeted me at the door, I noticed two big lumps on her back. I felt them and they didn’t seem to hurt her, but they still worried me… The next morning, I made an appointment with the vet. On June 23, 2005 the vet operated on Shadow to biopsy the lumps on her back.
I think we are drawn to dogs because they are the uninhibited
creatures we might be if we weren't certain we knew better.
