This page gave me a lot of grief as I worked on it! but i'm happy with how it turned out! Title Reads: We Saw DEAD People! Journaling reads: " Outside St. Michans. We planned the whole day around this place and its catacombs" "A carving from 1724 of seventeen musical instruments from a single piece of wood done by an apprentice wood carver. "While the rest of the tour group shopped and went to the Guinness factory, we found St. Michan's Church. Below the church were family burial tombs believed to house the remains of crusaders. As we were taken down into a passageway, there were family crypts stacked full of coffins. The coffins were crushed under the weight from the lead. I'll never forget the priests reaction to me as we reached the tomb of the crusaders, piled hap-hazordly in a small room with skulls along a shelf. I asked" Why are there three legs?" The priest said, "Oh! You're not supposed to notice that!" The bodies had been lain on top of eachother! The limestone kept the bodies preserved where we could see leathery skin and hair. It was one of the coolest things I've ever done. We saw DEAD people!
