This is for Jilliand's Meaningful Song Challenge. I chose the song "When I Was Young" by Supertramp. This song has always been one of my favorites. The song to me is about loss of innocence as a child grows up, and the loss of idealism. Throughout childhood you are told so many things, and yet you are never told who you really are; you are not told anything about your real self. Very rarely, anyway. We are taught how to function outwardly, but not told who we are inwardly, and no one explains it to us. These pic's are when I was 19...and at a real difficult time in my life. These pic's are just a handful I have of myself & daughter when she was little. I had a real hard time trying to decide whether to post this or not, because the pic's are kind of embarrassing & I'm not very happy with the layout, but I decided to go ahead and do it. Thanks for looking & thanks for a great challenge Jill. :)
