This is for the July COLOR Challenge and July Doodle Challenge with a Twist. It's a picture of myself in a Theatrical Scenery Painting class. I like how the denim-looking paper looks with my overalls in the photograph. I had the sticker "Create" title on the page, but thought it blended in too much, so I pulled it up and painted the white patch under it for some contrast.
I matted the photo with vellum, and handstitched it down in the corners. I cut the red and blue Stars, then doodled some stitches, scratches and stars on them with a black pen. I drew in the word "paint" on one of the stars. The 'School Activity' stamp is from Close to My Heart.
