journaling reads;"everyone was home on this beautiful june day, brought together after mama died. i was watching cara playing with her cousins. they went along with me, cutting up for the camera, and i was suddenly filled with a bittersweet memory of our precious mama. i could hear her saying,"look at all of them, playing together, and having so much fun!" i could picture her as she sat at the kitchen table, looking out the window at her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as she had done so many times through the years....only this time, she wasn't there....but i could see and hear her just the same." june 2003.
