Awww...children have such kind hearts...they take on so much. My children are very afraid of storms too...the wind blowing starts them off. It's tough watching them be so scared!! I told them once that it rains because the angels in heaven are crying. My 8 year old said "If they are in heaven why would they cry because heaven is beautiful" (which is a great question) so, I replied, "They cry when the little ones here on Earth are sick." My 4 year old says, "Well, there must be a lot of sick kids!" :)
lovely photos, love the colors, its so sad when someone so young worries like that. wish we could just put our loved ones in bubbles to protect them from anything bad, lol. but then that wouldnt work so well either =p
Wow this is beautiful! Love the picture and all the gorgeous details! Glad the grandparents are doing better and hope Chloe starts having an easier time of it, too!
Amazing lo Gabi, so touching!! Your journling is sweet as always...love the jounaling box!! Such a beautiful photo of Chole, shows how delicate she is!! I'm gald that your parents are doing much better! Thanks for sharing with us!!
Okay, WHAT type of Clematis is she holding in that stunning photo? Mine are royal purple and I've never seen one so blue before! I LOVE IT! I think your garden and my garden must look quite similar... but you have more hostas lol! I love the flower you made, your stamping, and those fabulous papers! Another gorgeous layout by you! I am so happy to hear that your parents are on the mend. How scary that must have been for you all
GORGEOUS!! STUNNING!!! I love how you altered the photo so beautifully. Chloe is SUCH a beautiful little girl! I'm sorry that she's had a hard time this year. My daughter is becoming the same way. Her grandpa (my FiL) was also diagnosed with cancer this year. So she's afraid too. She's only 5 and learning some life lessons pretty early in life. Hopefully things will turn around for everyone soon! So glad her Chloe's grandparents are on the mend! Hope they continue to heal!
Such a beautiful layout!! Love the way you did the beautiful flower!!! Great rub-ons and the picture is priceless!!! Excellent Layout, Gabrielle!!! Love it!!!
Aw, I hope Chloe will have lot's of reasons to cheer up now!!! This is another fantastic layout, Gabrielle! I looove the purple flower and how you framed Chloe's photo!
Awwwwwww poor Chloe what a year, it is a good job she is not living in England at the moment we are having thunder storms every day, I love the way you used the Rusty Pickle, the way you framed the photo is fabulous and I love your trademark flower treatment, another gorgeous one Gabi - thanks for sharing :)
ahhhhhh this is GORGEOUS!!!! what tender journaling! isn't it sad when we see our little ones worry? there is sooo much worry in this world! kids just need to be kids! :) love your pages --- and YOU are a wonderful mom!
Your layouts are always so meaningful. Beautiful but meaningful :) Glad to hear the gp's are doing okay and hopefully Chloe will get over her fears soon. Great job on this. I like your writing on the flower.
Beautiful lo, Gabi!!! Love all your work, but you know that! Just haven't had a lot of time lately to leave comments!! Be assured that my thoughts are with you an your girls!! Your work is always inspiring to me, thank you for being such a wonderful person and scrapper!!! (I have really seen all your pages over the last few weeks and I really do love them all!! Just have been busy!!!) This is especially endearing to me because of my own grand daughter who is worried about me since we had the fire!! I have had to reassure her a number of times and I know how little ones can take on too much worry!!! Bless her heart , she just has a lot of love in there and doesn't quite know how to channel it!!! She will as she gets older!!! Let her feel her feelings, it builds character and integrity!!!
gorgeous in every way! what tender journaling. she has been through so much, and as you work with her and she feels the confidence of your love and security, i'm sure she will conquer those fears. hugs to you both.
wow, you always have such an impact in your layouts, either with embellies or color or journaling, i just love what you did with this layout!!! beautiful!
What an amazing photo of Chloe! I like the deep purples to go with the worries and the message you are sending her is so great. Glad the GPs are doing better and hope the Thunder storm passes soon. I can understand they can be scary. Love how you layered the Rusty Pickle papers and your stamps look wonderful. This is so striking G! No where else to put it, but in my favorites!
Sorry to hear about the grandparents cancer. I was only 7 when my mother died after a hard battle with leukemia...I know what she's going through. I pray that the grandparents will survive this. You and your family will be in my prayers!!
I love the flower! Awesome color combo!!
I am so sorry to hear about the grandparents cancer. That IS a scarry thing. I was 14 when my mom died of cancer ... I can imagine the fear she is feeling and hope that the grandparents are going to be ok and are able to become 'survivors'. What a sweet page you have created for her. The picture is darling and I just love the purple here! Cool how you did the title!

An exquisitely beautiful photo of Chloe!! What a magnificent blue flower! This is a wonderful layout as usual. The purple pprs are lovely and the flower is gorgeous! However, your journaling was very shocking for me. I will remember all of your family in my prayers. God bless you all!
This is absolutely gorgeous!!! The photo & colors are so beautiful. I can relate to poor little Chloe, bless her heart! I am so amazed by your talent! If/when you publish a book I plan to be first in line :-) :-)
Wow I'm first Gabrielle :o) firstly what an amazing photo, I feel for the little one I have been like that all my life. You have done a beautiful job with these papers, watch out for a scrap lift honey. :o) Suzie xx
This has been a pretty tough year for Chloe, she's had to deal with the news that both her grandparents got cancer almost at the same time (although both have had successful surgeries recently and are on the mend), since then she worries every blemish is something serious, she's developed a huge fear of thunder storms, we've been trying to help her face her fears and just enjoy being a 9 year old. .....This page is for Purse Junkie's July Rusty Pickle challenge.
