This is beautiful - I am assuming that pears is kinda like gerber here ;) I think it's awesome that the photo is quite old, but you still have the story to it!! :)
He definitely looks just like a pears baby, love those adds, what a little cutie he was, you captured the whole vintage thing perfectly here Sue and the lace is the perfect finishing touch TFS :)

Here is my DF this photo was sent into The Pear's Baby Competition in 1935 he is two. Journaling in the little red book, I knew it would come in handy one day - Peter John Fernie. Born 1933 Pear's Baby Competition This is the picture Dads Mum or Aunt Blue sent in to The Pears Competition in 1935 Dad was 2 years old, the jumper he is wearing was one his Mum knitted. Dad laughs now and says he was rejected but as he has always taught us, it is the taking part not the winning that matters. To us the best thing is that our Nanny, his Mum loved him and thought her Baby Boy the best, putting him up as a winner.
