This is part of the set of china that belonged to my husband's mother. When she passed away 13 years ago, my father-in-law gave it to me to save for DD Katie. He bought this china - place settings for 12, serving pieces, crystal, and silver - for Annie while he was overseas during the Korean war. Not a single piece was broken while he hauled it around with him on the way back to the States. Talk about a labor of love! Annie loved roses, hence the pattern he chose.
