This is one of the Design Team projects I did for my LSS. I love how this layout turned out, and it was such a fun way to use random pictures!
Techniques:
1. Rather than attaching a ribbon slide with ribbon, stitch a slide to a flower embellishment to create a whimsical flower center.
2. Mat photos or other accents with ribbon instead of paper. It adds wonderful texture and depth of color.
3. Tear edges of patterned paper and cardstock and then ink torn edges to add texture and worn feel to layout.
