This is our first year as UCLA football season ticketholders! Shane, Liz, George and I loved it so much that we'll be going into our third season this fall.
The journaling reads: It certainly wasn't the easiest year to be UCLA fans. Our first season as ticket-holders and game-goers was filled with ups and downs: a so-called "time of transition" for our program. It was, in other words, a mediocre year.
But it taught the four of us a few things about being a part of the Bruin football tradition. Support the team always, be the 12th man on defensive third down, NEVER leave a game early and ALWAYS have pride.
We found that no matter what happened during a game, we always looked forward to the next one. We would always come back, and come back cheering. And the four of us had started a tradition of our own.
That year, we learned what it means to be True Blue.
On the tag is a series of rallies that we hear from Jeff, the rally guy, at every game!
The stamped twill tape is the last few lines of our alma mater.
