What an AWESOME LO! Your page is beautiful and your description is so great...I really like the way of letting your children and grandchildren know more about you and who you are... again AWESOME!!
Marilyn
You're senior picture is so close to the ones I am acquainted with from my high school year books. I like the papers you chose and the journaling you added. Are you sure you are not a biographer?????
Wow! Absolutely WONDERFUL work!!! I love your journaling, and your choice of papers! Awesome stamping...as always, and of course, into my faves! Fabulous layout, Susan!!!
All I can say Susan is gorgeous!!!! both the photo and layout!!....and you know what?...good for mom and dad!! you didn't need any make-up, what a natural beauty!!....loved the journaling too!! well done!
What a lovely picture of you!! This is awesome and inspiring....maybe it'll get me to do one similar!!! Straight to my favs!! I REALLY like the patterned papers you've used here!!
Very beautiful! Love the black and white with those pops of red! Great job with the stamping, too! Love your journaling. Isn't is funny how some things are the same for everyone? (like fitting in and knowing everything!) Great job!
Totally awesome!! Love the b&w with a touch of red! Love all that stamping too. Lovely photo of a lovely lady and wonderful journaling! Also, what a nice design and placement!!! Great job!!
Very pretty with the b/w and a touch of red with the flowers! All the stamping looks fantastic. The journaling is great, reminds me of my parents, too - they were strick, curfews, no makeup, I think I could use lipstick at 15....even when I was 22 and engaged (still lived at home) was expected to be home by midnight!!!!!
Fabulous design, and the touch of red among the black and white is very striking. What really grabbed my attention, however, is that gorgeous hairdo! I had one just like it!
Great design with the variety of b&w pps and the spark of red to accent! The circles work so well to soften the linear lines and the stamping is beautiful.
Susan, that is outstanding! You always combine beautiful layouts with such a wonderful journaling! I'm kind of hestitating to start a BOM or layouts about myself, because you have to face who you are and why you are that way. Great job!
My Senior picture from High School. Journaling is tucked behind the big square and reads: 1968 – That was my year. I was finally a Senior in high school. At 17 years of age, I thought I knew everything! How very naïve I was! I look at this picture now (2007) and I see a girl whose only dream was to be a wife and mother. I had a very strict upbringing – at least by today’s standards. I remember wanting to “fit in” with everyone else – basically the same issue teenagers face today. Fitting in was difficult for me – I was shy, my parents did not allow me to wear makeup, my parents wanted to know where I was and who I was with, and my curfew was still 10:00 pm when I graduated! Looking back now, I can see that my parents did what they thought was best for me…and I in turn did the same things to my children when they were growing up. My dream DID come true….I married at 19, and had 3 children by the time I was 28. I can’t say that my life has been the kind of life that storybooks tell…but I don’t believe that I would change anything. The person I am today is the culmination of all the life experiences I've had during the past 39 years….and I’m happy with it.
