Right On, I love this idea. Have fun with the name, I'll give some ideas for the fun of it.... Alexis, Lola, Fiona, Trixie, Gwen, Phoebe, Starlee(yeah I knew a girl with that name). Haha good luck. :)
My first go at an altered dress form - been wanting to do it for a while, and I finally forced myself. LOL. My BFF bought me the dress form so what the heck right? I started by giving it a base coat of white (since it was brown paper mache); i added the top part of the dress with decoupage techniques and mulberry paper. I used the mulberry to make a pleated skirt, then attached strips of ribbon above and below to give it some fabric appearance. Swirls are done w/ a Silver Sharpie and clear glitter paint. Necklace, wings (another adventure w/ hot glue), starry belt and bow, and it was finished!! Going to keep making more of these, unique pieces, going to put them in a "Line" and call them girls names. What do you think I should call this one ?? I am having a hard time deciding!! Anyway, it was sure fun to make, can't wait to get started on another! TFL!!! :D
