This is just so lovely! Love the monochromatic scheme using the different shades of green! The photos are very precious, the stamping is perfect, love the journalling card and the way you used the big BG flower!
Ah, your favorite colors! How beautiful and perfect for these adorable photos (brings back childhood memories in me). I love your stamping and your journaling box, too!
beading or not, this is fabulous AS ALWAYS. I love these photos, and how it depicts the relationship between megan and your dad. Really lovely! Your colors, placement and stamping are ALWAYS perfect! I agree though, the distress ink is NOT good for stamping. I need to get some Stazon. I've heard it works GREAT!
Beautiful!!! Love the cut out flower!!! Love how you matted the pics and the patterned paper!! I've had the same problem when I stamp with the distress inks too. Thought it was just me! Thanks for letting me know that is not me!!!!! : )
Wow Gabrielle, this is definately another fav!! It's so stunning and how wonderful to capture such a tender moment!! I know exactly what you mean about the ink...I just experienced the same thing oddly enough when I did a lift of your 'one day my prince will come' page. Thanks so much for sharing :-)
Gorgeous page! I love the pps and they tie so well with the photos. Love the photos too - a moment in time to remember. Going right into my favs and you have inspired me for a LO that I've been stumped on <bg>! Thank you so much for sharing your fabulous pages!
Straight to my faves!!!! This is so gorgeous, and so YOU!!!! Love the green and brown color combo, the pretty blooms, and the gorgeous pictures!!!!! Love this entire page!!!! Did you take these pics with your new camera??????
Ha funnily enough, I just had the same problem with the Tim Hotlz inks, i know exactly what you mean, I thought it must be my poor stamping technique lol, you did a fantastic job with the brown pen, no-one would ever know, I love the way you have used the stamps and those new primas are gorgeous - beautiful photo too TFS :)
Oh Gabi, this is one of my new favorites of yours!! All is perfect in this LO, the design is magnificent, your stamping, that gorgeous big flower, the bling...well, everything!!!
This is beautiful, Gabrielle! I love eveything about it...you cannot tell that you had any trouble with the ink...it looks perfect! This is such a touching layout, as well...you brought the colors of nature right into your layout!
Wow.... I just love your designs and your creativity. I wish I was your neighbor to stop by your house and see you in action. Another winner right into my fav's
Ooooohhh, I love the way you arranged the title and your stamping is A-MA-ZING! I also love the small brads in the middle of the big flower, how creative!
beautiful! Love the flowers and esp. the cut out one!!! Great job with that !! gorgeous pics that match the pp perfectly!! You are really good at that, too!!!! what am I saying???? You are good at everything!!!!!!!
This is beautiful! I love how your paper is an extension of the colors in your pictures, it's like you bring the 'outside' to the outside of the picture! Your journaling is sweet and I bet your dad loved the experience as much as your daughter did! Love the flowers on the side, and the stampin' is great! (I too have had some problems with the Distress Ink Pads - of course I didn't find that out until I bought 5 colors! One thing I did figure out is that when one of my smaller ink pads, with a spongy pad was running out of ink, I would dab it onto the Distressed Ink pad, to get more ink, and then use the spongy pad on my stamp. It worked for me!)
This is so great. The papers are perfect for the natural setting and the journaling is so wonderful. Love the shapes of the two pictures too. Great work and adding to my favorites.
Gabi, this is beautiful....and you used 2 pictures!!! You go girl!!! I really love the green and brown combo.....good job with the journaling....and in true Gabrielle style....the flowers are magnificant!!!
You scrapped this beautifully, impeccably and amazingly!!!! LOVE this page!!!! I love the way you used this BG pp - ahhhhh.... your pages are just a delight!!!!
Wonderful!! Those photos and your journaling are just so sweet and touching. What great shots you got on that day! I love the stamped frame on the right side of the photo! Great use of that BG collection! The brads in the big flower are a great idea!!Beautiful!!
This is a photo I took of my Dad hunting for fossils with Meagan at the creek behind their house. The journaling reads: "I love the way Meagan's hand so naturally reaches for Opa's hand, so trusting, as they search for fossils."........I used the Tim Holtz distress ink to do my stamping and oddly, the ink did some beading on some of the stamps and not the others, so anyone looking at my products list, I'm not sure I'd recommend this ink for stamping, I had to use a brown pen to even it out :) .....................thanks for having a peek! :D
