first let me say that my stitching software did not stitch this very well, i did it over about 5 times!!!! so on the top of the photo mat on both sides, it looks crooked, but it is the way it stitched.
the materials for this lo with exception of papers and adhesives, was sent to me as part of the scrappack challenge. we had to use all of the pieces we received. for the keyword challenge, i used the word "for" in the hidden journaling. the 4 red brads are in each corner. (the snaps beside them are 2 snaps that i used the 2 pieces separately.)
hidden journaling reads; you are so cute in your little red dress, and your smile so big ,you look like you are laughing. you are two years old here, and the world is a beautiful place to you. you love playing in your room, singing to your sesame street record, or helping grandma in the kitchen, making biscuits. you love to go out side with grandpa and "help" him, love taking walks around the yard with Grandma. Riding with your daddy in his big truck is always a thrill for you, and you and i love to read books and sing silly songs together. you are a joy to all of us. you are our little american girl. we delight in you, and most of all, we love you!

i used blue paint for the title, and then painted over them with a crystal glitter paint, and outlined with silver metallic paint, then cut them out. I used the red ribbon to string the word girl on, and added four of the stars to the ribbon too. the two plastic rings are on the cardstock photo corners, filled with blue glitter paint. i imade the "star" flowers out of cs and pp, and outlined each layer with metallic and glitter paint. i put the two clear pebbles in the center of two of the flowers, and the other silver star in the center flower. the metal word piece i painted blue and added the date. i used the blue ribbon on the corners of the cs background, and added the gold brads that i painted red in the center. i place the 4 snap pieces on the outer corners of the cs background too..they got a little cut off with the scan. i added blue stitch lines around the title, and silver doodle lines with hand drawn stars. that's all!
