My first lo for this site. I see this car in my neighborhood all the time, and I went on a mini-rant one day that someone CHOSE to drive a beige bug. I took a sneaky photo and did this as a confidence booster. I managed to make it "personal" in spite of myself.
Journaling reads:
Time was, you'd buy a used VW Beetle and get stuck with a beige one, like my family did in the 70's.
Then VW introduced the "new" Beetle that was supposed to be all about creativity, style, and standing out.
So who intentionally buys a beige Beetle?
Not me... mine was blue. I miss that car. :-(
