This is a lift challenge I did for my Taj Mahal group, our challenge was to lift something from Irene (Scrapperlicious). I love the techniques that Irene uses, and I use them in my scrapping at times as well. I started out with a medium green background and used Antique spray and homeade alcohol spray over items such as a paper doiley, lace, and flower cutouts to achieve the background you see in the LO. I also used pearlescent paint to paint over the paper doiley, you can see a bit of the shimmer towards the bottom of the LO, but in real life, there's much more.
The pink paper started out as regular pink cardstock and I stamped over it with a background stamp and a text stamp and distressed it a bit. The photo has painted edges. The smaller flowers were stamped with Autumn Leaves acrylic stamps on Perhaps Basic Grey Paper. Then I covered them with Diamond glaze and sprinkled a thin coat of glitter on the wet glaze.
