This was originally made for the Imperfect Lives "Against All Odds" challenge. It is the hardest LO I've ever done as it was emotionally draining. I never would have found the strength to complete it if not for all the wonderful community on sb.com. I missed the deadline for the challenge but still wanted to share with everyone. The journaling is long but tells the story of how a boy started a fire in the bedroom my children slept in back on Dec. 23rd, 2001. I cannot praise those involved in saving my daughter enough, including my then 6-year old son, who woke my parents, and step-dad, who sacrificed himself to protect her.
